Succession in an Emerging Market
High-performance infrastructure for telecommunications networks is a growing market of the future. An established player in this segment was SNG, which was established in 2010 in the Thuringian town of Römhild. The company offered services relating to the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. Key services included network planning as well as related construction, maintenance, and repairs. Customers included telecoms operators and other providers of communications networks. Founder Gustel Schneider and his family decided to sell the company in 2020 for age reasons.
Handover to an International Player
Syntra (formerly sonntag) found a buyer in Circet Deutschland GmbH that will smoothly follow on from SNG’s successes and continue to build on them. Circet is the leading provider for telecoms infrastructural services in Europe. Its portfolio comprises services ranging from engineering to network rollouts, installation and maintenance for cutting-edge telecommunications technologies. Circet has subsidiaries in France, Germany, Ireland, the UK and Morocco.
“Together with the succession that had already been initiated operationally, the sale paves the way for a successful transition for company founder Gustel Schneider. At the same time, with Circet SNG now has a strong partner by its side for sustained growth.”
