Sale of Three Operational Companies
The sales specialist meetB offers a broad product portfolio of medical technology products and consumable materials as well as services for emergency medicine. The company primarily caters for emergency personnel. Other areas include clinical needs, first aid and occupational safety. The meetB Group includes three operational companies at three locations in Brandenburg and Bavaria: meetB Gesellschaft für Medizintechnik Vertrieb mbH, meetB Service GmbH and Medizintechnik Schwarz GmbH. As part of the succession plan, meetB founders Ulf Konrad Stolte and Dietrich Mantei decided to sell the three operational companies.
An International Player Takes Over With Asker
The team from Syntra found the appropriate buyer for meetB with Asker Healthcare Group from Sweden, which operates throughout Europe. As a partner of care facilities, Asker specializes in the provision of high-quality medical devices, consumables, and equipment. With 40 companies in 14 countries and around 3,500 employees, the Swedes are among the most significant actors in European healthcare. Following the takeover of meetB’s operating subsidiaries, Asker Healthcare Group has continued its growth and looks forward to the future with even greater strength. Even more so because meetB’s two founders and shareholders, Ulf Konrad Stolte and Dietrich Mantei, remain on board as consultants as part of the succession plan.
“We established our group over 25 years ago, when we were still operating as emergency personnel ourselves. We have continuously developed the group since then, as well as its service offering. As a full-range provider, today we are one of the largest dealers in the field of emergency medicine on the German market – a development that we are now continuing with our new partner Asker.”
