About Us

Syntra Shapes the Future. This is Our Goal – And the Aspiration That Makes us a Leading M&A Consultancy in the Mid-Sized Business Sector.

Our story began as sonntag corporate finance over 20 years ago. We have grown since then – with a wealth of experience, a dedicated team and a long list of successful transactions. Today we are an M&A partner that advises clients with professionalism and enthusiasm, and that completes transactions offering long-term added value.

Syntra offers the best of both worlds: Detailed M&A expertise at the highest international level, combined with the flexibility and down-to-earth approach of a mid-sized company. We are intimately familiar with the challenges and opportunities a transaction entails from our own experience: Syntra is itself the product of a targeted and successful changeover. At the beginning of 2021 we laid a foundation stone for the future with a new partner structure. In 2024 we gave a name to this by rebranding from sonntag to Syntra.

Group’s Success with a Focus on the Mid-Sized Business Sector.

Syntra Corporate Finance primarily advises the owners of mid-sized companies with evolved structures facing challenges such as succession, growth or changes in ownership. With Nachfolgekontor, which also belongs to the group, we offer these services specifically for small to mid-sized – mostly owner-managed – companies. As the Syntra Group, we therefore cover the entire SMB segment and offer tailored solutions for every need – from established mid-sized companies to smaller businesses.
